Mel Steffens

Mr. Steffens has been specializing in aquaculture facility design for the past several years, and has been associated with all phases of building or project development, including preliminary designs and site preparation, for over forty years. He has formed and led teams of architects, draftsmen, engineers, contractors, and other specialized service providers, coordinating and directing all facets of and activities associated with project and building development, including . A few examples of his recent work includes developing the concept, schematics, designs and drawings for a 60 tonne Charr & trout hatchery and grow-out recirculation facility, renovations and expansion of existing facilities to incorporate water recirculation, and creation of system design and associated drawings for a recirculating saltwater/fresh water facility: 2 x 10m and 2 x 11m tanks and project supervision of construction activities.
